Aventurine & Crystal Necklace - Swirl Crystal Necklace with Aventurine

This necklace is special because it is an original design.  Because this necklace is an original design, it is a very unique gift for you or a friend!

HOW IT WAS MADE

First, I made the focal point - a beautiful, diamond shaped Aventurine stone on a handmade gold, swirl head pin.  Hand forged with gold filled wire, and hand hammered, is a small swirl that hangs on top of the stone, creating a movement that draws the eyes.

For added detail, and to keep the pendant in place, I wrapped a small space with gold filled wire on one side of the pendant, and attached a gold wire swirl on the other side.  Six bead dangles were made with golden shadow, swarovski crystals, then attached to the chain.  These crystal dangles create a little movement, and sparkle in the light.  

The chain I used to make the necklace is gold plated, with tiny dots of teal matching the Aventurine stone perfectly.  It has a hand forged and hammered hook closure, and measures 21 inches.
